Epiphone Sheraton

This guitar is the most amazing one I have had, out of Gibsons,Fenders Tokais etc.
Its versatile, it sounds great, feels fantastic and has great build quality.
My version is an 80s model, with the odd harmonica looking bridge,it seems its roughly around 1989,the bridge is stamped in Japan, so its possibly a Japanese model, but I think its more likely to be a korean model, made just after the interesting models they did, with the Epiphone by Gibson Headstock.

this sadly has to be sold at the moment, the only one I am keeping is my Fender Jaguar due to sentimental reasons(it was bought for me,and its damn cool)

The Sheratons have been played by John Lee hooker, the Kings of Leon,Noel Gallagher and many others.

Epiphone used to be independant and were a leading manufacturer of hollow-body and archtop guitars. Epiphone's guitars were of such high quality they rivalled Gibson's hollow-body guitars. Until 1957 Epiphone was one of Gibson fiercest competitions. The death of Stathopoulo in 1957 effectively ended Epiphone's independence and the company was sold to Gibson. In 1958 Gibson began to expand upon its Epiphone line of semi-hollow guitars. They reworked Epiphone's old Century archtop into a thinline electric fitted with a single P-90. This was followed by the introduction of a twin-humbucker, double-cut thinline 1959, the Sheraton.
